There is no rule that a college education or career has to center on one interest. For UNC alum Shadae马洛里, exploring multiple interests led to an enriching UNC 教育与职业. Shadae came to UNC from Las Vegas, NV and enrolled 用英语, alongside minors in Africana Studies and Theatre. Adding to a full class schedule, Shadae joined the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and held on-campus jobs in residence 生活与录取. Following graduation, Shadae earned a Master of 艺术 from Bowling Green State University and began building dual careers as a writer and higher education 管理员. Combining a love of writing, passion for education, and commitment to advancing social justice, Shadae recently published "The History of the Civil Rights Movement - A History Book for New Readers."
